For those of you [lower class] people that don't know what Harrods is... it consists of a LARGE department store with not only Clothes but jewelry,makeup, shoes, purses... - it has 2 restaurants (one for adults and one for kids), animal~dog, cat store(clothes, pet store), toy store, Home section(furniture, antiques), All ages international designer clothing. It is absurd.
I fell in love with a dress there... too bad it was 600 pounds... darn.
If I only made $500,000 salary... instead of $500 a year. Although, we had a fabulous tea party in pretty little dresses- I felt as if we were treated as we were lower class... but it could have been just the service because I have gotten bad service everywhere. They are JUST NOT NICE. :/ I got to say though, we were sitting next to a very snoody lady. She was just a classic snob. I love it there, but I don't know if I would fit in. Anyone disagree?! :)
Afterwards, we shopped around the area. I got a few things at Zara then we ate dinner. Later that night we had to go to the show Macbeth at 7:30. I was quite the experience. We had ground tickets-- meaning we were standing the whole 3 hours... NOT FUN.
[ They had this cloth with holes stuck in them for your head (it was supposed to look cool to the people above) although it was quite awkward for us...] We were supposed to stand like that watching the play the whole time- but I did it for about an hour then got out...
There were creepy witches running around scaring everyone on the ground!! IT WAS SOOO CREEPY!!!! AHHHH They would touch you or bump into you then "hiss!!" ahhhhh!!!!
I'm glad we got to be on the ground level standing because if not we wouldn't have been able to experience that part. Although, I would not want to do the whole ground, standing thing again. Once is enough. BUT we have another play at the same place "Henry VIII" and we have ground seats :(
Long day- going to bed then getting up for MARKETS Saturday!
