Went to Camden Market (2 tube stops from where I am staying). There were many different parts to it- I bought 2 hair clips that are really pretty!!!! 2 for 12 pounds. They are legit. It was an experience bartering!!! I was looking at a top and the guy was trying to convince me to buy it. Telling me it was hand embroidered-- and it looks like butterflies. Then I was like ok well let me think about it. He was like it is 20 pounds. And I was umm ok well that is too much. Then he was like well what do you want to pay? I was like well, I don't know because I haven't tried it on to see if I even want it! So I tried it on and it didn't look that great - but he said how about 12 pounds... haha but I didn't even want it! SO I left because it got annoying :) There were so many cute things but some of it looked real cheap.
Then we went to Portabello Market in Notting Hill!!! :) :) Ya know the movie?!! IT WAS HUMONGOUS!!! It kept going for 2 miles!!! Lots and lots of antiques- I know my Mom would have loved it but sometimes when there is just too much to look at you can't even tell if you want any of it or not because it is TOO MUCH and overwhelming! Anyways, I did end up buying (aka bartering for) some things . I got a bracelet/bangle from this Asian lady- she said "20 pounds." Then I was umm no -there's no way. I said "8 pounds." ~ because it's better to say a lower price then increase... she was like no no my boss isn't here but he would not like that. So I was like ok well I can't pay much more- so she was like I really can't. SO I started walking away... 15 feet away and she yells " OK OK !!!! " hahahaha It was really funny at the time :) So I got the item for 8 pounds!!!! Probably wasn't even worth that but I wanted it!!! :)
