Monday 6/14

We watched changing of the guards this morning at Westminster!

I thought it would only be marching but apparently they stand in a circle and play songs! They played the Mamma Mia song! Then all of them marched out onto the streets to change.

It was quite a chilly day but I still wanted to do something. I hate just sitting at the flat during the day. I've only done it once so far and it just makes me sad and depressed because I start thinking about home. First, Nicole and I went to the house in the movie "Parent Trap" :) It looks way different but the movie was filmed a long time ago.

Then we went to Kensington gardens! We say Princess Diana's Memorial Fountain. It's not the kind of fountain you're probably thinking of though. It is a circular stream of water flowing from one output but goes both directions but then it returns to the same spot= represents
openness. <3

We walked along the water and reached the Peter Pan statue!

Then at the end there are gardens and more fountains. We went to Top Shop (best store ever) and I bought the cutest (and highest!) pair of stilettos along with a dress! The heels were 70 pounds and the dress was 35 pounds. A bit of a splurge I know... but I figured its my birthday in 2 days! :) Yay!!!!!
